This 1970 Chevelle SS454 LS6 was tracked from a couple other storage locations to its new resting spot just outside of St. Louis, MO. The car has been off the streets since the mid 1980s.
It’s fully documented with buildsheet and protecto plate with original engine, trans, rear axle, and features the epic Code 75 Cranberry Red exterior.
Amazing. A lot of younger people don’t realize that when we were teens we could buy these cars or these types of cars for a few thousand dollars. And people modified most of them because the idea was a holly was faster than a stock carb, etc. etc. All three didn’t have stock engines, block yes, add on parts no.
They were cars then, not legends. And of course most teens wanted to make them faster. So to find these things unmolested really is pretty amazing.
